Busy busy weekend!

Dear Cadence,

Momma had fully intended to write this on Monday, but they week just seemed to fly by and now it's Friday... anyways here it goes!

Of course we look so forward to every weekend, now that Daddy is back to work! It's great when the weekend comes along and we get to spend the time together as a family. But last weekend was CRAZY busy. On Saturday... we got up early and went out in the cold to take some family pictures. You did great!!! And then we went to Mack's 1st birthday party, it was a lot of fun and I think you made some new friends. After all that, went to Gramma and Grampa's house to have dinner and play games with everyone. By the time we got home, it was after 9pm and we were all SO tired.

Then came Sunday and Alexy's 1st Birthday party. Which was also A LOT of fun! It was great to watch you play with all the other kids and for Mommy and Daddy to be able to talk with the adults. After the party we went to Aunty Cheryl's to have a big family dinner. It was the first time that you met your 3rd cousins, Maya and Ava. And of course you got to hang out with little cousin Izeyha. Even though it was such a busy weekend, we had so much fun.

Now for this weekend.... time to get ready for Christmas! Mommy is so excited to watch you open your presents on Christmas. So anyways, this weekend we are going to cut down our first Christmas tree (we are hoping to make this a family tradition) and there are hay rides and a petting zoo at the tree farm. Then maybe on Sunday we will go to the Stanley Park Train (another tradition we plan to continue)!

All these "firsts" are so exciting! And Mommy is looking forward to all of them. I love you so much Monkey!
